It’s been said that you cannot light another’s path without brightening your own.
That’s exactly the philosophy that Meridian Health Services has taken in producing Holidays at Gresham, a drive-thru light exhibit extravaganza for all ages. While our community has many unique holiday experiences, each year Meridian Health Services adds to the festivities with special evenings of holiday magic. Beginning the first weekend in December, the Suzanne Gresham Center – located at 3620 W. White River Boulevard, Muncie – hosted nearly 20,000 visitors from 6–9 pm each Friday through Sunday.
Holidays at Gresham is Meridian’s annual holiday fundraising event.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community and the over 1,200 contributors, we reached our Phase 1 fundraising goal to help build a therapeutic walking path at the Suzanne Gresham Center!
The $21,151 we raised for this event went to our Children and Family Services. Knowing the importance of the body/mind connection, we know integrated care helps people achieve their best results. We also recognize that many children thrive beyond traditional therapy settings. That’s why we’re creating a therapeutic walking path at the Suzanne Gresham Center and Child Advocacy Center. Walking side-by-side helps kids process emotions, build trust, and regulate energy.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to building the path, and gifts of $50 or more will honored with a tribute on the path to healing upon completion.
